Chester Zoo
Chester Zoo is certainly worth a visit. It’s ideal for a family day out and it doesn’t have to be an expensive day. There is a huge selection of animals, a good mix of places to eat and there are plenty of baby changing facilities – ideal if you’ve got small children!

Chester's City Walls
Chester’s City Walls are what most people think of when describing Chester. They are what make our city so unique, they form a circle around the town and make a particularly nice route to walk around.
Dewa
I would definitely recommend the Dewa Roman Experience for the town guide to Chester. Unlike most museums, where everything is preserved behind glass, you can actually touch the Roman artefacts, try on a Roman suit of armour or create your own mosaics.

The Rows
Without a doubt the Rows are Chester’s most distinct feature. Not only are they steeped in history, they also house some of the best shops in Chester. This is the best place to go to top up your history quota whilst indulging in some retail therapy.
Find us: The Rows are found on four main streets in the city - Bridge Street, Watergate Street, Eastgate Street and part of Northgate Street
Chester Cathedral
Whether you are religious or not, Chester Cathedral is certainly a place that you should visit. The architecture is truly stunning and the spectrums of colours created by the sun beaming through the windows have to be seen to be fully appreciated.
