Features of our X20 service :-
On the Eastern side of Ashington our X20 service replaced routes X30 and parts of X31 and runs every 20 minutes between Ashington and Newcastle via Woodhorn Road, Alexandra Road, North Seaton, the Spine Road and Regent Centre to Newcastle offering fast journey times. X20 buses at Ashington connect onto/from X22 journeys to/from Newcastle (creating cross town links between North Seaton and Fallowfield). Evenings and Sundays an hourly X20/X22 linking service will run between Newcastle and Ashington/North Seaton. Through fares are available on all these X20/X22 connecting journeys. Extra early journeys between Nth Seaton and Ashington have been introduced to enhance the morning timetable.
X20 Stopping points :-
Express route X20 serves all stops en route from Ashington to North Seaton roundabout (adjacent to south side) then stops only at Regent Centre Metro, Gosforth Ivy Road (northbound), Gosforth Brandling Arms (southbound) then Haymarket Bus Station. X20 will also stop at B1318 Forsyth Road during the Hoppings Festival.
