Arriva buses are here to help you get around the Medway Towns and the surrounding area.

Our buses run across the region, with frequent services linking estates and residential areas to the town centres and Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre.

There are also frequent buses to Maidstone running every fifteen minutes for most of the day on Mondays to Saturdays and there's free Wi-Fi on most buses used on the service.

Other out-of-town buses will take you to the huge shopping and entertainment centre at Bluewater and to Gravesend.

Our Medway Mainline network of local buses provides frequent services which link Chatham Waterfront Bus Station with the main residential areas around Chatham, Gillingham, Rochester, Rainham and Strood. Buses run between every 7or 8 and every 12 minutes.

To help you cut the cost of travel, our range of Day, Weekly and 4-weekly Saver tickets allow unlimited journeys on all Arriva buses in the Medway area.

You can buy your tickets from our drivers or even by using your mobile phone! There's also the South East Saver ticket which is valid on all Arriva services in Kent & East Sussex

All buses run to Chatham Waterfront Bus Station where you can make connections between any of our services. The Bus Station is close to the Pentagon Shopping Centre and just a short walk from the High Street.

If you're visiting Medway for a day out or a short break, our buses can get you to most of the local tourist attractions.

Medway Mainline Services 140 and 141 run frequently from Dickens World and Chatham Historic Dockyard and through the historic centre of Rochester with its Victorian High Street, castle and cathedral. There are frequent buses to the Royal Engineers' Museum at Brompton - take the 101, X-Bus 116, the 121 or Medway Mainline 182.

Fort Amherst is a five-minute walk away from the Bus Station.or hop on a  the 101, X-Bus 116, the 121, Medway Mainline 140/141 or Medway Mainline 182 and get off the bus at the Medway Council offices in Dock Road. Fort Amherst is a short walk away on the opposite side of the road. Buses back to Chatham Bus and Rail Stations stop right outside the fort.
