Seahouses
Seahouses, known as 'The Gateway to the Farne Islands' also known as an access point to the nearby Farne Islands. The town can be particularly busy at holiday times, as both locals and visitors alike come to take in the wide variety of attractions available in the town.

The beaches immediately adjacent to Seahouses are up among the top clean, wide, firm, safe, sandy beaches in the whole country. Also from Seahouses take a walk or cycle along the coast and see why the area is part of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Farne Islands lie two to three miles off the Northumberland coast midway between the fishing village of Seahouses and the magnificent Castle of Bamburgh. As well as being the most famous Sea Bird Sanctuary in the British Isles they also have a large colony of Atlantic or Grey Seals.
