Changes to services 7/7A, 8, 12, 20 and 27/X27 in the Darlington/County Durham/Teesside areas
Services 7/7A Darlington - Durham
There are timetable changes mainly to short journeys within the DarlingtonTown area (new local Darlington service 26 partly replaces these journeys). The weekday 0730 route 7A and 0749 route 7 departures from Darlington to Durham / Arnison Centre will now leave at 0723 and 0742 respectively and run 7 minutes earlier throughout to Durham (0745 and 0805 at Newton Aycliffe T.Centre, 0809 and 0829 at Ferryhill) to assist in overcoming increasing traffic congestion into Durham.
Service 8
The timetable has been revised to better co-ordinate with other local and area services running through North Road Darlington.
Services 12 and 20(Tees)
The Hurworth - Darlington - Durham Tees Valley Airport service 12 has now been combined with and will replace Teesside service 20 to extend from the Airport hourly via Hartburn and Stockton to Middlesbrough (additional 12A journeys will run between Teesside and Yarm hourly to give a half hourly service from Hartburn to Teesside). Some peak time service 12 journeys will divert in Darlington to serve Morton Palms rather than Morton Park).
Services 27/X27
These Richmond services will now divert at Ava Road in Catterick to serve Munster Barracks the timetable is otherwise unchanged and remains in force.New 7/7A, 8 and 12 timetables are being issued on bus and at normal outlets en route shortly.
