Louise Finch, from Carleton Community High School, said "The pupils had a fantastic morning helping Arriva spell out their offer. The summer holidays are long and often expensive for families and it should really help our pupils get out and about. "

Nigel Featham, managing director for Arriva Yorkshire, said: “This year we’re investing over £12m in new vehicles for Yorkshire, we’re really proud to be able to offer our customers a newer, improved level of service. We hope young people in the area take advantage of the special summer fare and have some great days out”

The £1 ticket will be available from Monday 23rd July 2012 to Sunday 2nd September 2012. This ticket is only valid on the 135/136 service.
