The plot thickens for Arriva's Alfie
Arriva is looking for creative kids to help launch a new comic book adventure, starring company mascot - Alfie.
The bus company is inviting children aged 12 or under to put their story telling skills to the test and decide what happens next to Alfie.
The lucky winners will have their story brought to life on the Arriva website each month, forming the next edition of Alfie’s crazy comic book adventures.
Nick Gordon, marketing manager for Arriva UK Bus said: “Alfie the Bus Driver was created to bring the Arriva values of dependability and helpfulness to life and, like our real bus drivers, he is warm and friendly.
“Alfie provides the face of our online help centre and his attendance at roadshows across the region in 2011 showed how popular he was with our younger customers.
“Now we want to raise Alfie’s popularity even further and introduce him to a wider audience, so we are looking to create ‘The Adventures of Alfie’, an online comic book featuring our hero in a series of bus related adventures.
“We’re looking for as many suggestions for Alfie-related plot lines as possible, so that we can create a wide variety of adventures throughout 2012.”
The winners, who will be chosen each month, will have their very own story brought to life and receive an ‘Adventures of Alfie’ prize package, including book tokens and art materials.
