ARRIVA - 415 challenge for Thomas

415 challenge for Thomas

14 bus employees from Arriva’s Selby Depot took on a challenge of a lifetime this weekend when they walked the 22 miles of the 415 bus route, Selby to York.

The walkers, who began their journey at 10.30am at Selby Bus Station, passed through Barlby, Riccall, Naburn and Fulford and finally arrived 5 hours later in the city or York.

Raising funds

The walkers took on the challenge in order to help raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. They are carrying out the walk in order to directly help local boy Thomas Cammack who has been diagnosed with the condition. They hope to help raise some of the funds he needs in order to receive treatment in the USA.
