Arriva bus service extended further in to Great Park
Arriva North East have announced a big improvement for a major route connecting the Great Park area with Newcastle City Centre. Service 46 will now operate further down Featherstone Grove providing a quick and easy link for the residents of Great Park.
The change, which takes place on Sunday 25th September, will enable more people the opportunity of using the bus to get to Regent Centre, Gosforth or Newcastle City Centre for either work or shopping. 
Mark Ellis, commercial manager at Arriva North East said: ‘We are very pleased that, working together with the local council, Arriva have been able to improve this important link to Newcastle City Centre. We would encourage people to use this service and benefit from this improvement.’
Service 46,46a operates every 20 minutes between Haymarket bus station in Newcastle and Featherstone Grove in Great Park. The journey from Featherstone Grove into the heart of Newcastle takes only 18 minutes and is ideal for commuters and shoppers. A cheap day return at £2.90 is available for this service
