ARRIVA - All aboard to the snow

All aboard to the snow

Arriva Yorkshire and Selby Town Council have teamed up this summer to offer a Wednesday bus service to Xscape.

Th
e introduction of the service follows the success of the Wednesday journeys during last year’s trial which was put in place following a campaign led by Selby Youth Council.  The service will start on Wednesday 27 July and will run until Wednesday 25 August.

Colin Newbury, head of operations for Arriva Yorkshire, said: “We’re delighted to show our support for young people in our local community and we’re so pleased that people used the Wednesday service during last year’s trial allowing us to reintroduce it again this year. We hope lots more people use the service this summer too!”

A spokesperson for Selby Town Council said:” We are happy to be able to continue this popular service for the young people of the town, it was a disappointment when it looked like the service would not operate because of County Council cut backs.”
