Changes to services in South East Northumberland and North Tyneside
From Sunday 29th May we are making some changes to our services in South East Northumberland and North Tyneside. The details are as follows :-
Service 35 Newbiggin – Ashington - Morpeth
The Saturday early morning journeys will now run every 30 minutes.
Service 52 Ashington – Cramlington – Freeman Hospital
The 07.02 journey on weekdays from Freeman Hospital will now run 9 minutes earlier throughout following customer requests.
Service 555 Quorum Business Park – Four Lane Ends Shuttle
This service has been extended to run throughout the evening and is timed to co-ordinate with shift patterns at the businesses on the Park and also to connect with the last Metro’s towards South Shields and Heworth.
Service X4 Blyth – Seaton Delaval - Newcastle
The weekday journey at 17.28 from Newcastle will be retimed to leave at 17.36 to improve reliability. We’ll also have a new fast X7 peak time journey to/from Seghill and Seaton Delaval (see below). Evening journeys will now also serve Amersham Drive in Blyth with buses towards Newcastle from Blyth running at slightly later times to improve connections at Quorum Business Park. This service will also have a new stop on Barras Bridge for journeys into Newcastle.
Service X5 Blyth – Cramlington - Newcastle
Evening buses towards Newcastle from Blyth running at slightly later times to improve connections at Quorum Business Park. This service will also have a new stop on Barras Bridge for journeys into Newcastle.
Service X6 Blyth – Cramlington - Newcastle
This service will also have a new stop on Barras Bridge for journeys into Newcastle.
Service X7 Blyth – Seaton Delaval – Newcastle Express
A new peak time only service on weekdays to provide faster journey times from Blyth, Newsham, Seaton Delaval and Seghill to Gosforth Business Park and Newcastle with one journey into Newcastle and one journey out of Newcastle.
Service X20 Newbiggin – Ashington – Newcastle Express
Minor timetable alterations with new evening peak times from Newcastle with buses leaving at 17.15 and 17.45, giving a better spacing of journeys for commuters. This service will also have a new stop on Barras Bridge for journeys into Newcastle.
Service X21 Newbiggin – Ashington – Newcastle
Minor timetable changes to early Saturday morning services. This service will also have a new stop on Barras Bridge for journeys into Newcastle.
Service X22 North Seaton – Ashington – Newcastle
This service will now run every 30 minutes throughout the day. This service will also have a new stop on Barras Bridge for journeys into Newcastle.
