Arriva Yorkshire celebrates IIP
Employees at Arriva Yorkshire are celebrating after being awarded Investors In People status. The award, which is designed to advance an organisation's performance through its people, represents a huge achievement for the company.
They had previously acquired the recognition individually at each of their 5 depots and head office, however this week saw them become recognised as a region.
Julie Reynolds, human resources manager for Arriva Yorkshire, said: “We are absolutely delighted, we have worked really hard to make sure that all our Yorkshire depots are achieving the same high level of performance through the drive and commitment of our people. IIP recognition is a real testament to the dedication of all our employees and the pride they have in delivering a high standard of service.
She added: ”I am so pleased that all the efforts we continuously make to engage our employees have been recognised. IIP is a sought after qualification and to have secured it as a region is a great reflection on the professionalism of our team.”
