Elvis spotted on bus in Cas Vegas
The video of Elvis and his showgirls was launched on you tube this week after being filmed by Arriva Yorkshire. It was all part of a campaign celebrating the great ‘pride’ that the residents of Castleford and Pontefract feel for their local towns.
Elvis was not alone in his quest and was accompanied by two showgirls who had abandoned their dancing duties in Cas Vegas to head out on the buses.

Chloe Leach, marketing and communications manager for Arriva Yorkshire, said: “We know how proud the people of Castleford and Pontefract are of their towns and we wanted to make a play on the fondly renamed CasVegas and Ponte Carlo, it’s such a great theme. The passengers were very surprised indeed, and just as we thought, they couldn’t wait to join in with some classic Elvis!”
