Hartlepool Tall Ships - diversion to service 527
Tall Ships Diversions
Between the 7th and the 10th August, Hartlepool will host the Tall Ships event. A lot of effort has gone into minimising the impact on traffic flow, this includes a ‘no right turn’ restriction from Stockton Street onto Church Street.
As a result the service 527 will need to divert via Victoria Road, Stockton Street, U-turn at Asda roundabout, Church Street, Victoria Terrace, Maritime Avenue to turning circle, then back to Victoria Road via the reverse of this route for the duration of the event.
Services 22, 23,23A, 24, 24A, 24X, 33 will run via a one way loop in Hartlepool by turning left at Mill House Leisure Centre (opposite the old Odeon), continue along Raby Road which continues into Swainson Street, turn right at the end of the road onto Victoria Road to pick up/set down at normal stop outside the old Arriva office and then continue normal route.
Running times will be monitored during the event and should further amendments be required these will be discussed with the council during the event.
